Daniela Melchior is a Portuguese actress born in 1996. She studied theater and enrolled in the agency “Elite Lisbon” before making her TV debut with the 2014 soap opera “Mulheres.” In 2016 she gained national attention by portraying Carminho Santiago in the youth series “Massa Fresca” alongside Mafalda Marafusta and Duarte Gomes. The young actress also took part in soap operas like “Ouro Verde” and “A Herdeira.” She had her first major film role in 2018 with the drama “Parque Mayer”, directed by António-Pedro Vasconcelos. Her popularity soared after being named as part of the cast of “Suicide Squad” in 2021, with Idris Elba and John Cena. Melchior has also ventured into singing, having released the single “O Que é ser Normal? Apontar o Dedo Ao Mal” in 2018.
