Lars Frederiksen Bio
Lars Frederiksen is a well-known punk rock guitarist who was born in Campbell, California, on the 30th of August, 1971. More than twenty years have passed during which time the punk rock band Rancid's guitarist, who is heavily covered in tattoos, has been a member of the band. He has played in a variety of bands in the past, including UK Subs, among others. He joined Rancid in order to fulfill their need for a second guitarist, and he became an integral part of the band very immediately after his arrival. Both of his musical ventures, Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards and The Old Firm Casuals, feature him as the lead vocalist and leader of the respective bands. When Frederiksen was a young lad, Joey Ramone and his band were among the musicians who had the biggest impact on his musical taste and sensibilities.
