Laura Vandervoort Bio
On September 22nd, 1984 in the city of Toronto, Canada, Laura Vandervoort, who is also known by her birth name, Laura Dianne Vandervoort, was born. She began her acting career by appearing in the background of Canadian television commercials and shows. When she was thirteen years old, she landed her first speaking role in the children's series "Goosebumps," which was followed by "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" The Lookout, which Laura directed and starred in alongside Jeff Daniels and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, was Laura's first feature film and it was shot in 2006. After that, Laura made a number of TV appearances, which ultimately led to her being picked up by The CW network. Obtaining the much-sought-after role of 'Supergirl' on the critically acclaimed series 'Smallville' broadcast on The CW. The in-demand actress immediately began production on a number of critically acclaimed independent films. She also appeared in the V Wars episode of the Netflix adaptation of the book series written by Jonathan Maberry.
