John “John John” Alexander Florence was born on 18th October, 1992 in Honolulu, Hawaii, United States. He is a professional surfer. Florence grew up in the Hawaiian North Shore surfing and it has always been more than a hobby for him, he learned how to surf when he was only 5 years old. He is known for his riding skills, aerial technique, and effortless style. When he was 13, he became the youngest surfer ever to compete at the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing where he demonstrated a remarkable performance. Some of his career highlights are the 2014 Men's Championship Tour - 3rd overall, the 2016 Men's Championship Tour - 1st overall, and the 2017 Men's Championship Tour - 1st overall. Other than surfing, he is also into filming and content creating, his YouTube channel “John John Florence” was created in 2019 and it has 94K subscribers and his Instagram profile @john_john_florence has over 1 million followers. Florence also has his own surfboard brand called “Pyzel Surfboards”.
