Kygo is the stage name of the Norwegian DJ and music producer Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll. He was born in Singapore from Norwegan parents on the 11th of September, 1991. He started to play piano at the age of 6 and at 16 he started to compose music on his computer. In 2014, he released his first single “Firestone” which debuted in several global charts, getting a great success. That year he was contacted by Avicii and Chris Martin from Coldplay to make some official remixes of them, and in September he was confirmed to replace Avicii on the stage of Tomorrowland due to the acclaimed DJ’s health problems. In 2017, he released the album “Kids in Love” which featured collaborations with artists like John Newman, OneRepublic and Wrabel, among others. In 2020, he released his 3rd studio album titled “Golden Hour”.
