Caleb Landry Jones, also known as Caleb Jones, is an American movie and television actor. He was born on the 7th of December, 1989 in Garland, Texas, U.S. He started his acting career in 2007, when he landed a small role in the critical acclaimed movie by the Coen brothers “No Country for Old Men”. He proceeded to play several minor roles in movies like “Superbad” in 2007, “The Longshots” in 2008, and “The Last Exorcism”, and “The Social Network” in 2010. In 2011, he got his first breakthrough when he landed the role of Sean Cassidy / Banshee in the box office success “X-Men : First Class”. For that work, the cast was nominated for a Teen Choice Award for Movie Chemistry. He appeared in “Byzantium” in 2012, in “Antiviral” in the same year and in 2013, on Xavier Dolan’s “Tom at the Farm”. In 2017, he joined the cast of the critical success horror movie “Get Out”, where he played along Daniel Kaluuya, Allison Williams and Bradley Whitford, among others. The movie got nominated to the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
