Born on March 4, 1983, Cate Timothy, or publicly known as Cate Le Bon is from Penboyr, Carmathenshire, Wales. Her music genres are folk, rock, and pop. She matched her spooky voice with dark lyrics which she said is death-fixated. She plays spindly guitar sound which gives a certain mark on her music. In 2007, she self-released her single “No One Can Drag Me Down” and a recorded album “Pet Deaths” but was never released.
In 2008, she issued the EP “Edrych yn Llygaid Ceffyl Benthyg.” Le Bon contributed to the song “I Lust U” from the album “Stainless Style” of Rhys and Bryan Hollon. In 2009, Le Bon’s first official album release was under Irony Bored Label entitled “Me Oh My.” Her all-new studio album “Crab Day” was released in 2016.
