Rachel Emily Nichols is an American actress born on January 8, 1980, in Augusta, Kennebec County, Maine, United States. Rachel graduated from Cony High School in Augusta and Columbia University in New York City, where she graduated in Math and Economics. During her College days, Rachel started a modeling career and had a chance to work with companies like L'oreal and Abercrombie & Fitch. After a minor appearance in the movie Autumn in New York and a small role in the famous TV series Sex and the City, Rachel needed more relevant parts in screen projects. Her first serious roles came with Resurrecting the Champ (2007), Horror picture P2 (2007), and Star Trek (2009). She is most famous for the film G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009) and her leading role in the TV series Continuum (2012-2015). She won the Best Actress awards on the Independent Television and Film Festival and the ITV Fest for her role in Underwater (2012). Besides the awards, she was awarded numerous nominations for her performances throughout the years.
