Christopher Charles Lloyd (who’s popularly known by his moniker Lloyd Banks) is an American rapper who was born on April 30th, 1982 in New Carrollton, Prince George’s County, Maryland, United States. He has two siblings and they were raised in South Jamaica, Queens, Maryland.
Lloyd is famous as one of the members of the rap group G Unit where he is joined by 50 Cent and Tony Yayo. He joined the group in 1998 and helped the group release two albums Beg for Mercy (2003) and T.O.S. (Terminate on Sight) in 2008. Lloyd’s solo album The Hunger for More appeared in 2004 and it featured the hit single On Fire. The album became a hit and was certified platinum in 2005. He followed up with Rotten Apple in 2006. Some of his famous singles include I’m So Fly (2004), On Fire (2004), Beamer, Benz or Bentley (2010), Start It Up (2010), So Forgetful (2011), I Don’t Deserve You (2011) and Make It Stack (2011).
