Born into a Jewish family on 18 April, 1972, in Newton, Massachusetts, producer, actor, and writer Eli Roth started shooting Super 8 films since he was 8 years of age. He attended film school in 1994 at the New York University, winning a student Academy Award and graduated Summa Cum Laude.
The famous film star was development head for producer Fred Zollo at the age of 20 but left this position soon to focus on writing full time. He made budgets and schedules for films such as A Price Above Rubies (1998) and Illuminate ( 1998). Eli also co-wrote, in 1995, the script for the movie released in 2002, Cabin Fever with his friend, Randy Pearlstein.
Cabin Fever was won by Lionsgate that led to it being the highest-grossing film for the company in 2003. He produces an animation series in 1999, called Chowdaheads with Noah Belson who co-wrote and co-voiced the episodes.
