Better known as Ali Barter, Alisson Barter is an Australian pop-rock singer and songwriter. She was born in 1986, in Melbourne, Australia where she was involved in the Australian Girls Choir. Her debut EP, named Trip, was released in August 2012. The following year, she released her second EP, named Community and went on tour with The War on Drugs, an American indie rock band from Philadelphia. Her third EP, under the name of AB EP, was released in September 2015. Ali Barter released her debut studio album, named A Suitable Girl, in March 2017. The album was charted at number seventeen on the ARIA Albums Chart. Her second studio album was released in October 2019, named Hello, I’m Doing My Best. Ali Barter is the co-owner of the record label Ronnie Records.
