Bryana Salaz is an American singer, songwriter, and actress, born August 25, 1997, in Orlando, Florida. Bryana's career began at the age of 12 when she started participating in various singing competitions and venues, the first of which was a competition for military children in Hawaii. Salaz discovered her passion for performing and started singing coaching with Yvonne Iversen, a prominent vocal coach in Hawaii. Her vocal talents led her to participate in several music and talent competitions - America’s Got Talent in 2011 and later The Voice in 2014. Her appearance on the seventh season of The Voice made Salaz a worldwide celebrity. At the audition, the singer performed the number Problem, originally by Ariana Grande, and impressed the judges. She was selected by the pop superstar Gwen Stefani to be her mentor during the show. Salaz was extremely successful and praised during the show, only to be shockingly eliminated in the selection for the Top 12. After having her talent recognized globally, Salaz continued her acting career, starring in Best Friends Forever, a Disney Channel show, and along with several other TV appearances.
