Michael Rainey Jr. is a Jamaican American actor. He was born in Kentucky, U.S. on September 22nd, 2000, in a family with Jamaican origins. He began his acting career at age 10, starring in the Italian movie “Un Altro Mondo” directed by Silvo Muccino. The movie got very good critics and the talent of Rainey Jr. was highly praised in the industry. He landed his first role on television in the successful drama series “Power” in 2014, where he portrays Tariq St Patrick, the son of the protagonist of the series. In that production, he shared the screen with Omari Hardwick, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, and Naturi Naughton. In 2018, he starred in the Netflix’s basketball drama “Amateur”, directed by Ryan Koo.
