Satti Vijayashanti, widely known as Vijayashanti, is an actress, producer, and politician born in Warangal, Andhra Pradesh, India, on June 24, 1966. She has starred in more than 120 movies across the Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam industries. She made her Tamil debut in Kallukkul Eeram, Telugu debut in Khiladi Krishnudu, and Hindi debut in Eeshwar.
Her role in Eeshwar earned her a nomination for Best Actress at the 1990 Filmfare Awards. In 1993, Vijayashanti starred in Kunti Puthrudu, Nippu Ravva, Police Lockup, and Zulm Ka Muqabla. She has worked opposite Mahesh Babu, Rashmika Mandanna, Prakash Raj, and Rajendra Prasad.
Vijayashanti won Nandi Award for Best Actress for her roles in Pratighatana (1985), Bharata Nari (1989), and Karthavyam (1990). She received a nomination for SIIMA - Telugu Best Actress in a Supporting Role at the 2021 South Indian International Movie Awards for her role in Sarileru Neekevvaru. Her acting credits include Zamaanat: And Justice for All, Main Hoon Angrakshak, and Sahas Baludu Vichitra Kothi.
