Kayla McBride is a professional basketball player born on 25th June 1992 in Erie, Pennsylvania, United States. She currently plays for Minnesota Lynx, which competes in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). McBride went to Villa Maria Academy, where she was a starter on their basketball team. She later went to the University of Notre Dame, where she played basketball for four years.
McBride started her professional career in 2014 with the San Antonio Stars after being drafted third overall in the 2014 WNBA Draft. In 2018, the Stars were renamed Las Vegas Aces. That same year, she resigned with Las Vegas Aces as a free agent. She was selected for the 2018 WNBA All-Star Game for the second time in her career. In 2021, she was a free agent again. She joined the Minnesota Lynx the same year.
