Considered one of the most offensive players in the NHL, Nikita Kucherov was born on 17th June 1993 in Maykop, Russia. He played in the Russian Junior Hockey League for Krasnaya Armiya. In the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, he joined the Tampa Bay Lightning. In 2013, he made his NHL Debut and became the 7th debut player in NHL history to score a goal. In the 2014-15 season, he had his breakout with Tampa Bay Lightning. He became one of the only two players in the franchise to score two game winning goals in the same playoff year. In 2017, he was named to the NHL All-Star team. He became the first player in Lightning history to score goals in five consecutive games. In 2020 he had his first Stanley Cup victory. He also represented Russia in the 2017 and 2019 World Championship.
