Anna Kalinskaya Bio
Professional Russian tennis player, Anna Kalinskaya was born on 2nd December 1998 in Moscow, Russia. She showed great promise as a player since her junior years when she won the doubles title at the Australian Open in 2016 with her partner, Tereza Mikhailkova. She had also played for the French Open and the US Open singles and doubles events respectively before achieving this feat. At 15, she attempted a WTA tour debut at the Kremlin Cup in 2014. When she lost after a wild card entry, she began to play for the ITF Women’s Circuit. She recorded her first senior win at the $10K Antalya tournament. Her professional debut in the doubles category was with a victory at the $25k Sunrise tournament. She made her Grand Slam debut in 2017 at the Australian Open. She has won three doubles titles on the WTA title and seven singles and nine doubles titles in the ITF Women’s Circuit. In 2022, she achieved her highest career ranking on the World No.51 spot as a singles player and World No.53 as a doubles player.
