James Wesley Marsters is an award-winning American actor, producer, writer, and singer best known for his work in film and television. He was born in Greenville, Plumas County, California United States, on August 20, 1962. James began his acting career in 1992 when he appeared in a few episodes of the TV series Northern Exposure. He has since been a regular on the TV series Hawaii Five-0, Runaways, Dragon Ball Super, Witches of East End, The Super Hero Squad Show, Smallville, and Angel, but he is best known for starring in the action-drama series Buffy the Vampire Slayer alongside Sarah Michelle Gellar, Nicholas Brendon, Alyson Hannigan, and Emma Caulfield Ford. James’ filmography includes A Bread Factory, Part One: For the Sake of Gold, P.S. I Love You, Dragonball: Evolution, and New Life.
