Alison Pill is a Canadian actress best known for her work in film and television. She was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on November 27, 1985. Alison began her acting career in the late 1990s when she appeared in the TV series The New Ghostwriter Mysteries, PSI Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal, and The Last Don II. Alison has since been a regular on the TV series Star Trek: Picard, Them, Devs, American Horror Story, The Newsroom, and The Pillars of the Earth. Her filmography includes Midnight in Paris, Vice, Dan in Real Life, Hail, Caesar!, and Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, but she is best known for starring in the comedy-action film Scott Pilgrim vs. the World alongside Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Anna Kendrick, and Aubrey Plaza.
