John Cho is an American actor. He was born on the 16th of June, 1972. He started his career in small roles in projects such as “Wag the Dog” in 1997, “Bowfinger” in 1999 and “Yellow” in 1998. In 2002, he played in the critical favorite “Better Luck Tomorrow”. But it was his role in teen comedy “American Pie” that made him known. He then played in the comedy “Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle”, and he starred in the very successful franchise Star Trek in 2009. From 2009 to 2010, Cho played in the TV series “FlashForward” as an FBI Agent. He starred in the indie drama “Columbus” in 2017, and in the thriller film “Searching” in 2018. In the same year, Cho starred in the movie “Searching”, playing a man investigating his daughter’s disappearance. He became the first Asian-American actor to headline a mainstream thriller in Hollywood.
