Uzo Aduba, born Uzoamaka Nwanneka Aduba on February the 10th 1981 in Boston and is an American Actress of Nigerian descent. With an acting career that began in 2003 at the Theatre Center for the Arts, she gained recognition for her acting, an actress with only theatre credits to her name before her first television appearance in a guest role on Blue Bloods in 2012.
With her breakout role coming in 2013 with her critically acclaimed role as Suzanne Warren, or Crazy Eyes on Netflix’s hit television show Orange Is the New Black, the actress is one of the few to with both a comedy and drama Emmy award for the same role. Still active in theater shows, the actress has also won five Screen Actors Guild Awards and a Critics Choice Award.
