Brendan Schaub Bio
Comedian and MMA fighter Brendan Schaub, was born March 18th 1983 in Aurora, Colorado. He started his fighting career by signing with Ultimate Fighting Championship to fight on The Ultimate Fighter. Always the athlete, he signed with and played for Arena Football League's Utah Blaze. After retiring from football, he went on to train in boxing and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He trained at High Altitude Martial Arts and the Grudge Training Center, which ignited his fighting career. Alongside his fighting career, Schaub teamed up with Bryan Callen to create a podcast titled The Fighter and The Kid, and went on to tour as a live podcast/stand-up comedy act. Eventually Schaub launched his own podcast originally titled Big Brown Breakdown, but re-named to Below the Belt when he partnered with Showtime. Schaub also made appearances in Slow & Hot with Brittney Palmer, Range 15, The Fighter & the Kid 3D, The Tax Collector and Film Fest.
