Callan Ryan Claude McAuliffe (also known as Callum McAuliffe) is an Australian actor who was born on January 24th, 1995 in Sydney, Australia. He was born to Claudia Keech and Roger McAuliffe (who was an author). Callan studied Musical Theater with The Trinity College of London and screen performance with Mr. Alan Flower of The Sydney Theater Company.
Callan rose to fame for starring in some hit movies like I Am Number Four in 2011 and also the 2010 film Flipped. He is also known for starring in the 2013 movie The Great Gatsby. Callan was named the youngest international winner of a Man of the Year Award in 2012 by GQ Magazine. In the same year, he was called One to Watch by Australian Film Trade magazines Encore and Inside Film. He wrote and published his debut novel The Hill Ghost in 2018 and also plays some musical instruments at varying competencies.
