Michael Eric Dyson Bio
Michael Eric Dyson is an author born on 23rd October 1958, in Detroit, Michigan, United States. In 1994, he published the book “Making Malcolm: The Myth and Meaning of Malcolm X,” which became a New York Times notable book of the year. He also published the book titled “Come Hell or High Water: Hurricane Katrina and the Color of Disaster” in 2006. He also wrote the essay “One Love,’ Two Brothers, Three Verses.” His three books have appeared on the list of New York Times Best Sellers.
Besides writing, Dyson is also a commentator. From 2006 to 2007, he hosted a radio show on Radio One. He has also appeared regularly as a guest on the television talk show “Real Time with Bill Maher.” He was also a commentator on television networks like CNN, MSNBCJ, and National Public Radio. In 2004, he won the NAACP Image Award in the category of Outstanding Literary Work – Non-Fiction for her world on Why I Love Black Women.
