Themba Mbongeni Nkosi, also known as Themba and Euphonik, is a South African music producer, DJ, and radio personality who performs electronic dance music. He was born in Mpumalanga, South Africa, on December 6, 1983. His sound is a unique blend that features his African roots incorporating local singers, songwriters, and percussionists to create his own unique and distinct style.
Themba made his debut at Ushuaia, Blue Marlin and Pacha in Ibiza and rose to solid fame in 2018 for his highly contagious releases and high profile gigs. His debut EP Paliva appeared on the Knee Deep In Sound label. He quickly followed it up with Who is Themba? that was released on his Herd label. His releases have been hugely supported by some familiar names like Black Coffee, Adam Beyer, Pete Tong, Hot Since 82 and others. He also supported Faithless on their South African tour as well as playing at Elrow. He kicked off Black Coffee’s opening party at Hi, the Bridges For Music charity event at Heart playing alongside Dubfire.
