The Knocks Bio
Ben "B-Roc" Ruttner and James "JPatt" Patterson make up the American electronic music duo The Knocks. They are well-known for their own releases on labels such as Kitsuné, Big Beat Records, Neon Gold, and Atlantic Records, as well as their remixes that have appeared on HypeMachine, Beatport, and in the set lists of numerous DJs.
They are also recognized for their tracks "Classic," with the duet Powers, "I Wish (My Taylor Swift)," with Matthew Koma, and "Kiss The Sky," with Wyclef Jean. On March 4, 2016, their debut album, 55, was released.
In 2018, they released their next album, New York Narcotic, which included the singles "Ride or Die" featuring Foster the People and "Brazilian Soul," Best Friend featuring Sofi Tukker.
