Aerial Powers is a professional basketball player born on 17th January 1994 in Detroit, Michigan, United States. She plays for Minnesota Lynx, which competes in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). She attended Detroit Country Day, where she led the school’s team to four consecutive regional championships. She later received a scholarship to join Michigan State University. She was at Michigan State University for four years but did not play for their team in her first year because of an injury. She came back stronger in her sophomore year, averaging 13.8 points per game. After completing her senior season, she entered the 2016 WNBA draft. Powers began her professional career in 2016 after being selected by the Dallas Wings (5th overall pick) in the 2016 WNBA Draft. In July 2018, she was traded to Washington Mystics, with Tayler Hill moving the other way. In 2021, she joined the Minnesota Lynx.
