Canadian professional ice hockey player, Tyler Toffoli was born on 24th April 1992 in Scarborough, Ontario. In the 2008 OHL draft, he was drafted seventh overall by the Ottawa 67’s. By the end of his rookie season, he joined the First All-Rookie Team. In the 2010 NHL Draft, he was drafted 47th overall by the Los Angeles Kings. In 2013, he made his debut with a win over the San Jose Sharks. In the same year, he won the AHL Dudley “Red” Garrett Memorial Award for rookie of the year. In his debut season, he led the rookies in goals. In the 2014-2015 season, he scored the first NHL hat trick of his career, leading his team to victory over the Calgary Flames. In February 2020, he became the first player in league history to score a hat-trick in an outdoor game against the Colorado Avalanche. He was then traded to the Vancouver Canucks and the Montreal Canadiens before joining the Calgary Flames.
