John Wesley Chatham, popularly known as Wes Chatham, is an American actor, writer, and producer who has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia, United States, on October 11, 1978.
John began his acting career in 2003 with a minor role in the film The Fighting Temptations. He has since then appeared in several movies including The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2, In the Valley of Elah, Tenet, Husk, and All I See Is You. Chatham has also had notable recurring roles in the TV series The Unit, Hand of God, and Barbershop. However, he is best known for his critically acclaimed performance as Amos Burton in the sci-fi series The Expanse, alongside Steven Strait, Dominique Tipper, Shohreh Aghdashloo, and Frankie Adams.
Chatham has also made significant contributions as a writer, receiving a Writers Guild of America Award nomination for Best Adapted Short Form New Media.
