CL Bio
Lee Chae-rin, better known as CL, is a South Korean rapper, born on February 26, 1991, in Seoul, South Korea. She rose to fame as a leader/member of the girl group 2NE1. CL made her Korean solo debut with The Baddest Female on May 28, 2013. In 2016, CL had her US debut with the single Lifted and kicked off her first-ever solo tour in the US.
She signed her first music contract with YG Entertainment in 2007 and left in late 2019 before signing under SuneV & Schoolboy Records. The South Korean artist has collaborated with artists such as Diplo and Skrillex. In 2011, she was a guest judge on Project Runway Korea alongside designer Jeremy Scott. In 2018 she appeared on the big screen as Queen in the American movie Mile 22.
