Jesse Jo Stark, also known as JoJo, is an American singer, songwriter, and fashion designer who performs alternative pop and indie music. She was born in Los Angeles, California, United States, on April 4, 1991. Raised in a family with Hollywood celebrities, Jesse was exposed to the music and fashion industry from a young age, but she officially began her music career in 2017 with the release of her debut single Driftwood. Her discography includes the hit singles Mystery, Breakfast With Lou, Fire of Love, Dandelion, Tangerine, and the studio projects Dandelion, A Pretty Place to Fall Apart, and Driftwood.
