Easy Star All Stars is a reggae collective founded in 1997 in Jamaica. The group consists of Michael Goldwasser, Eric Smith, Lem Oppenheimer, and Remy Gerstein. The band focuses on the genres of reggae, ska, and dub. The Easy Star All Stars are known for their reinterpretation of classic music albums in reggae style. They released their first album in 1993 called Dub Side of the Moon. This album was a reimagining of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of The Moon. The album was followed in 2006 by album Radiodread. This album was a reimagining of Radiohead’s album OK Computer. In 2008 the group release an EP of original material called Until that Day. In 2001 Easy Star All-Stars released their first original album called First Light. In 2012 the group released the album Thrillah, a reimagining of Michael Jackson’s Thriller album.
