Marie Osmond, born Olive Marie Osmond on October the 13th 1959, in Utah is an American singer, actress and member of the Osmonds, a show business family. Never fully a part of her family’s singing group, the artist gained success on her own, as a solo country music star. Starting a career in 1973, her first single Paper Roses was a cover and became a number one hit and was considered a crossover success.
With a successful acting career and Broadway career under her belt, the artist has also released three books over time. Through the course of her career she has released sixteen studio albums, the latest being I Can Do This and Music Is Medicine. With hit singles such as Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Baby You’re Crazy and There’s no Stopping Your Heart, the singer has enjoyed a long career.
