May Calamawy Bio

Actress May Calamawy was born in Bahrain on October 28th, 1986. She has appeared in both films and television shows. She received her diploma from Emerson College in Boston, located in Massachusetts. Her role as Dena in the 2019 television series Ramy is primarily responsible for her widespread recognition. In addition, she is well-known for her roles in the television shows The Long Road Home and Moon Knight, in which she co-starred with Oscar Isaac. Her portrayal of the character Layla El-Faouly in the first season of Moon Knight spanned the entirety of the show's run. The video game character Ellie Malik in NBA 2K21 was dubbed after her, and her voice was used for the role. Throughout the course of her active acting career, she has accumulated over 20 credits.
