Eric Stonestreet is an American actor and comedian born in 1971 in Kansas City. Stonestreet is better known for his role as Cameron Tucker in the ABC’s series “Modern Family.” He became interested in comedy as a child, and even created his own clown character. Stonestreet attended Kansas State University and trained at ImprovOlympic and The Second City Training Center in Chicago before moving to Los Angeles. One of his first notable roles came as a recurring character on “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” before he made appearances in many TV series like “ER”, “Malcolm in the Middle”, “The Mentalist”, and “NCIS.” For his role in “Modern Family,” Stonestreet won two Emmy Awards as Outstanding Supporting Character in the Comedy category. The comedian has appeared in TV films like The Loft (2013), and Confirmation (2016), and gave his voice for the animation franchise “The Secret Life of Pets.”
