Ari Lennox Bio
Ari Lennox is a singer-songwriter, hailing from Washington, D.C. Her powerful voice and wide-ranging abilities, paired with her goofy, open personality, have made her an instant fan favorite. Lennox’s sound is very eclectic, with a lot of soul and R&B, mixed with a little bit of rock, country, modern, and Motown. This is evident when she lists her inspirations, which include: Ella Fitzgerald, Minnie Ripperton, Phony Ppl, John Legend, Sam Cook, The Beatles, and Aretha Franklin.
Lennox is currently the only female artist signed with J. Cole’s Dreamville Records. During her career, she has released three albums – Ariography, Five Finger Discount, and most recently, Pho. Her most popular original songs include “Backseat,” “La La La La,” and “Yuengling.” Several of her cover songs have also reached a high level of popularity via her YouTube channel.
