Sam Fischer is an Australian R&B singer-songwriter born in 1991 in Sydney. He started writing songs at age 12 and later attended Berklee College of Music. Upon graduation, he moved to Los Angeles and joined the acappella group HOLYCHILD. In 2016 Fischer released his debut single “Lean,” and quickly followed up with more standalone singles. Later that year he made a collaboration with Opia, and in 2018 he released his debut EP “Not a Hobby.” During this time he also started working as a songwriter, providing music for artists like Ciara, Jennifer Hudson, and Clean Bandit. In 2019, the young artist made a series of collaborations with artists like Nightmare Crowd and Pat Lok, but his breakthrough came with “Everybody Wants You,” a hit single featuring Black Saint. On the account of this impulse, he released the EP “Homework” in early 2020, and was featured in a 2021 single by Demi Lovato.
