Anna Paquin Bio
Anna Paquin, born Anna Helene Paquin on the 24th of July 1982 in Manitoba and is a Canadian-New Zealand actress. Paquin’s career began with an appearance in Jane Campion’s romantic drama, The Piano, winning an Academy Award at the age of 11, going on to work as a child actress, she worked in films such as A Member of the Wedding, A Walk on The Moon and played the mutant Rogue in the Z-Men franchise.
Continuing her career as an adult, Paquin portrayed Sookie in the HBO drama television series, True Blood, winning a Golden Globe for her performance, and more recently the actress has had a role in the television show, Alias Grace as Nancy and portrayed Annie Ryder in the crime drama series Bellevue, alongside such actors as Shawn Doyle and Sharon Taylor.
