Jay Harrington, born James H. Harrington III, is an American actor who was born on November 15, 1971, in Wellesley, Massachusetts. Before pursuing a professional career as an actor, he studied theater at Syracuse University. He first appeared as a guest star in “Pacific Blue”, and then continued to play roles in different TV series, such as “The Division”, where he played the recurring role of Theodore Blumenthal; “A.U.S.A.”, “Burn Notice”, “Hot in Cleveland” and “The Shield”. In 2006, he landed the role of Dr. Ron McCready on TV series “Desperate Housewives”. He starred on “Better Off Ted” from 2009 until 2010 in the comedy series “Better Off Ted”. He appeared in films such as 2012 “American Reunion”, “Anywhere but Here”, and “Whatever It Takes”.
