Country rock singer Koe Wetzel was born on July 14, 1992 in Pittsburg, Texas. With his mother being a musician, he was exposed to the business of music at a very young age. He was 12 when he decided to pick the guitar up, but as his focus was on sports at that time, he eventually dropped it. When he found himself losing interest in football when he was in college, he returned to music. In 2012, he left school so that he could focus on creating tunes and created the band Koe and the Konvicts. In June of that year, they released their debut EP, Love and Lies. The band started to gain traction after they released their first full-length album entitled Out on Parole in 2015, but they reached new heights in 2017 after the release of Noise Complaint. February 28th, 2016, a single off of the said album, became the most listened-to country song in numerous Texas cities that year.
