SK8 Bio

SK8, also known as Skate or Skate Maloley is an American hip-pop music act, songwriter, and music producer. Born Nathan Montgomery Maloley on January 17, 1995 in Omaha, Nebraska, SK8 is of Lebanese descent. He grew up in Omaha with his two siblings – Kaylan and Stewart.

Skate had an interest in Basketball and music ever since he was little. In his senior year at Papillion-La Vista School in Papillion, he got to play for the basketball team. After graduating, he went to play for the basketball team at Hastings College. Although he excelled at basketball, he found music to be more interesting. He left the sports world for Los Angeles in 2015 to focus on music.

SK8’s debut single was “Little Bit,” which was one of the soundtracks of the 2015 film, “The Chosen.” He has released several singles, such as “Girl Next Door featuring Wiz Khalifa” and four full-length album mixtapes since his music career began. In 2016, he toured 15 US cities to promote one of his mixtapes, “Skaterade,” having a sold-out show at Roxy Theater, California.

His latest project came in April 2022. It was his album, “Last Day on Earth,” featuring nine songs.
