Tess Parks is a singer and songwriter from Toronto, Canada. She moved to London at the age of 17 where she studied photography for a short time before dropping out and focusing on music. She returned to her hometown in 2012. In 2013, she released a solo album titled “Bloodhot” which received many excellent reviews. In June 2015, she released an album titled “I declare nothing” in collaboration with Brian Jonestown Massacre frontman Anton Newcombe. The album was an instant hit and sold out in Europe and UK tours. She continues to work with Anton on Brian Jonestown Massacre records, helping to write the title track on their EP, “Pish” in 2015, “Third World Pyramid” in October 2016, and many tracks on “Don’t Get Lost.” In the summer of 2018, they released the Tess Parks & Anton Newcombe record.
