The Maine is an alternative rock band formed in 2007 in Tempe, Arizona by John O'Callaghan (vocalist), Jared Monaco (guitar), Kennedy Brock (guitar), Pat Kirch (drums), and Garrett Nickelsen (bass). That same year they released the EP “The Way We Talk”. The following year they performed on the Warped Tour and issued a Billboard’s Top 40 full-length album, “Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop”, produced by Matt Squire from Sum 41. Their second LP “Black & White” was awarded Best Album of the Year by Alternative Press in 2010. A fourth album “Forever Halloween” was independently released, produced by The Raconteurs’ Brendan Benson, and would also be charted in Billboard’s Top 40. Their single “English Girls” would make it to the Top Ten in 2015. Between 2016 and 2019 they would release three more albums, including an EP with covers from the Backstreet Boys, Justin Bieber, and Rihanna.
