Ali MacGraw, born Elizabeth Alice MacGraw on April the 1st 1939 in New York and is an American actress, author, model and animal rights activist. With a career that began in 1968, some of her prominent film roles include Goodbye Columbus, in which she starred as Brenda a role for which she won a Golden Globe. She reached international fame for her work as Jennifer in 1970’s Love Story and this earned her an Academy Award nomination and her second Golden Globe Win. Going on to work in film such as Convoy as Melissa and Players as Bones, she became well known for her work.
With a television career that began in 1983 with her role in The Winds of War, she portrayed Lady Ashley Mitchell in the hit show Dynasty before appearing in television events, talk shows and reality television as herself.
