Lindsay Elizabeth Ell was born on March 20, 1989 in Calgary, Alberta. The Canadian country singer and songwriter has been playing the guitar since the age of eight, when she stumbled upon her father’s guitar collection. After graduating from high school a year early, she began pursuing a music career while studying business at the University of Calgary and music at the Berklee College of Music. Her big break came when Randy Bachman discovered her at age 15, leading to the release of her debut album Consider This. A trip to Nashville confirmed her love for country music and she soon moved to the city to work on her music After a three-year hiatus, Ell released her aptly named EP Worth the Wait in March 2017.
