Actress Rebel Wilson, born March 2nd 1980 in Sydney, Australia, studied at the Australian Theatre for Young People, and got Bachelor of Arts (Theatre and Performance Studies) and Bachelor of Laws degrees at the University of New South Wales. The actress trained with Second City in New York after scoring an ATYP International scholarship. Wilson wrote, produced and starred in her own musicals including The Westie Monologues, Spunks, and Confessions of an Exchange Student. Rebel stepped into US show business appearing in Bridesmaids, Workaholics, A Few Best Men, Bachelorette, and Struck by Lightning, before scoring a major role in the hit movie franchise Pitch Perfect.
