Rachel Zegler Bio
Rachel was born on May 3 2001 in Hackensack, New Jersey at the Hackensack University medical center. She was born to a Polish father and a Colombian mother. She attended the St. Philip the Apostle Preparatory School and went on to Immaculate Conception High School. She starred in Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, 42nd Street, and Shrek the Musical, which were her school’s productions, and her performance won her the Metro Award nominations as the leading actress. She became more famous when she covered Lady Gaga’s Shallow from the movie A Star is Born in 2018. She graduated in 2019. Director Steven Spielberg picked Rachel for the leading role Maria in the remake of West Side Story. She was picked out of over 30,000 candidates. She was also chosen to play in the live renditions of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. She was also cast in Shazam, Fury of the Gods.
