Patrick Kane was born in Buffalo, New York on November 19, 1988. He has been part of the all-star games in 2009, 2011, and from 2015 to 2019. He received the Art Ross Trophy, Hart Memorial Trophy, and Ted Lindsay Award during the 2015-16 season. He also received the Conn Smythe Trophy during the 2012-13 season and the Calder Memorial Trophy during the 2007-08 season. He was the first round, first overall pick of the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2007 NHL Draft. He played for the USNTDP Under-18 Team of the North American Hockey League, the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League, and the Biel HC of the Switzerland National League A. He is currently playing in the NHL as part of the Chicago Blackhawks and has been doing so since the 2007-08 season.
