LaMarcus Nurae Aldridge was born on July 19, 1985, in Dallas, Texas. He is a renowned basketball player who was drafted by the San Antonio Spurs as a forward/center in 2015. During his college years, he won the NABC All-American Third Team, Big-12 Defensive Player of the Year, First-team All-Big 12, Big-12 All-Defensive Team and Big-12 All-Tournament Team all in 2006. He also won the Western Conference Player of the Week several times as well as the Western Conference Player of the Month once in February 2011. He won the NBA All-Star game five times in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016. His other awards include All-NBA Second Team in 2015, All-NBA Third Team (2011, 2014, and 2016), and NBA All-Rookie First Team in 2007.
