Mark Allan Hoppus, better known as Mark Hoppus was born on March 15, 1972, in Ridgecrest, California. He is a singer, songwriter, and record producer, popular for being the bassist and co-lead singer of the rock band Blink-182. He is also part of the synth-pop duo called Simple Creatures along with the lead singer of the band All Time Low Alex Gaskarth. Mark Hoppus has started playing bass guitar since the age of fifteen after receiving one as a birthday present from his father and has never stopped playing ever since. He, Tom DeLonge, and Scott Raynor formed Blink-182 back in 1992. The band has had huge success over its career. Mark Hoppus has also proven to be a successful record producer, producing records for many bands including Idiot Pilot, The Matches, PAWS, and New Found Glory. In the past, he hosted his own podcast and his own TV show.
